Traveling Lungs is a performance and interactive artwork. Traveling Lungs went to different destinations around the city of Pittsburgh to talk to people about air quality (AQ) through an interactive experience.

The lung and nose costume were made of chicken wire, felt, and air filter material. Participants answering AQ trivia questions were invited to place black stickers onto the lungs as a visual way to see the negative impacts of bad AQ on health. Flyers with information on how to protect health were given to participants at the end of the experience.
